Children at Sojourner Receive Quilts From Natural Choice Academy

Acts of kindness seem few and far between these days, but our hearts were warmed by this touching story.

Dr. Jesika DiCampli, a physician at the SCNM Sojourner Clinic, connected the Natural Choice Academy (NCA) with the Child Development Center (CDC) at Sojourner, a domestic violence shelter.

In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, NCA decided to donate quilts their preschoolers made to the children in the CDC at Sojourner. After the quilts arrived, the children from both organizations were able to meet and spend the afternoon together. The children in the CDC even made a thank you sign for NCA.

The SCNM Sage Foundation was honored to join the kiddos for snacks and playtime while supporting our partners and the important work they do in the community.
